PLAYERS RATINGS: Man United 2-1 Watford

A poor match for Manchester United, but a good win, even though unfortunately it wasn’t very deserved today. Manchester United were okay in the first half in terms of attack where Marcus Rashford scored in the first half, but in the second half, they didn’t have a single shot on or off target for the first 20 minutes where the first shot was a goal by Anthony Martial. Watford were the better side today, in stats and in performance, but they just lacked the final touch and the ability to convert the chances to goals accuracy.

Watford have made almost double the attempts to score compared to Manchester United. However, this didn’t let them win or score until the last seconds of the original time where Watford made 20 attempts, 8 of them were on target. While Manchester United made 8 attempts and only 5 of them were on target
