Manchester United have had a tough match today in the FA Cup fifth round where the Red Devils have beaten the Premier League side, Huddersfield Town, to qualify for the next round, and the next opponent has been officially revealed.
Manchester United won 2-0 against Huddersfield Town away from home, at John Smith Stadium, where Manchester United have already lost 2-1 at this stadium earlier this season.
The Belgian striker, Romelu Lukaku, scored two goals for Manchester United where his first goal was just three minutes after the beginning of the match with an assist from Juan Mata, and the second goal was in the second half from a world-class assist from Alexis Sanchez.
Manchester United didn’t have their best night this season, and Huddersfield Town dominated the match in some aspects, such as possession and shots with 19 for Huddersfield Town and five for Manchester United, but this result was enough to hand Manchester United a qualification for the next round, quarter-final, in the FA Cup.
The draw for the next round has been officially revealed at 8:00 PM local time, and the opponents of the eight clubs are officially revealed where the next FA Cup match will be after around a month from now, between the 16th and 19th of March 2018.
Manchester United have drawn with Brighton the FA Cup quarter-final where the first leg will be played in the weekend of 16th to 19th of March 2018, but Manchester United will have a crucial Champions League match on the 13th of March, which means the FA Cup isn’t expected to be played on the 16th of March. However, the exact date isn’t officially confirmed.
