According to British news today, Wedensday, Man United is going to stop the negotiations with their Spanish goalkeeper, David De Gea, to extend his contract.
According to “The Sun”, Manchester United is going to do this step after Real Madrid dropped interest in signing De Gea from Man United.
Manchester United was going to offer De Gea a new contract with a weekly salary of 200,000 GBP after Real Madrid was interested in signing him this summer again.
According to a source inside Man United said: “De Gea still has two years in his contract with an optional third year extension. We don’t want to rush things, we can take our time. We know that De Gea wanted to leave to Real Madrid only.”
He added: ” We have to wait until next summer to see if they will try to sign him again.”
This step may anger David De Gea and make him consider to leave Real Madrid.
Knowing that Man United lost yesterday, Tuesday, against Real Madrid, 2-1 in UEFA Super Cup.
