BBC: Man United Close To Announce A New Right Back

Manchester United are reported to be on the edge of announcing a new deal in the coming few days or hours for one of the top rated right back defenders who is on Manchester United’s radar.

Manchester United suffered from the right back position, and defense in general, last season where Antonio Valencia couldn’t captain and lead Manchester United’s defense and team after his declined form in many matches where he had a lot of misplaced passes where Jose Mourinho wants to strengthen this position for next season.

Manchester United’s manager, Jose Mourinho, is reported to be on the edge of deciding and giving the green light for the club to sign the first player for the upcoming season, 2018/2019, where several players are expected to sign for Manchester United during this summer transfer windows.

According to BBC, Manchester United are closing in signing a top-rated defender, Diogo Dalot, who plays as a right back, and can also play as a left back which is an alternative position where the 19 years old defender plays for the Portuguese giant, Porto, who just won the Portuguese league and they are the champions which will be playing directly in the Champions League next season.

Manchester United will be paying the release clause of the 19 years old Diogo Dalot which is 17.4million British Pounds, which isn’t a big amount for Manchester United, but the amount may be a big over knowing that Diogo Dalot has just one year left on his contract in Portugal.
